Louise Young brushes are top quality and should last many years if cared for correctly. To maximise performance and the life of your brushes simply follow the cleaning recommendations below:
- Using lukewarm water and a small amount of gentle shampoo swish the brush head around in the palm of your hand to loosen any makeup, taking care to avoid getting water onto the wooden handles.
- Rinse through using clean, lukewarm water to remove the makeup
- Shake off any excess water when the brush is clean, reshape the hair and lay the brush flat on paper/kitchen towel to dry.
- Good quality brush cleaners can also be used as an alternative method of cleaning. If using these please follow manufacturers instructions and do not allow the brush cleaner onto the handles as some contain alcohol which can weaken the glue and damage the handle.
