Louise Young brushes are top quality and should last many years if cared for correctly. To maximise the performance and life of your brushes, simply follow the tips below:

• Using lukewarm water and a small amount of gentle shampoo, swish the brush head around in the palm of your hand to loosen any make-up.
• When the hair appears to be clean, rinse throughly again using clean, lukewarm water.
• Shake off any excess water, reshape the hair and lay the brush flat on a towel or kitchen paper to dry.
• It is a good idea to lay the brush with the tip slightly over the surface/counter edge to allow air to circulate.

Good quality brush cleansers may also be used on the brushes. Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions for these and do not allow the brush cleanser onto the brush handles as some contain alcohol which can weaken the glue and can damage the handle.
